Purcell Commitment to Sustainability
Gallons of Oil Saved in 2026
These figures represent estimated oil savings from commercial tire retreading, calculated using an industry standard of 15 gallons saved per tire as well as gallons saved per pound for much larger retreaded tires (50” to 63” rim size). Also utilized are historical retread activity and seasonal patterns. While actual savings may vary, the information here illustrates how retreading helps conserve resources and supports a more sustainable future.

All These Products Were Once Rolling Down The Road
When tires reach the end of their lives, we are committed to not let them end up in landfills. Purcell has long been participating and investing in the latest technologies for tire recycling and reuse. We are proud to do our part and see the benefits where tires are becoming playground material, plastic, carpeting, rubber mats, fuel, steel and many other things.
